Since the end of World War II, the United States has been the worlds leading super power. It has had to adapt its ways of dealing with other countries. Whether solving problems diplomatically or with force, its been US versus them since 1945. This blog is a look at the foreign policy of the United States towards other countries, and vice versa.

President Bush In Africa



This week President Bush went on a trip to Africa. Reports came out earlier this year that this would be his busiest year traveling. So far the trip has been looking like a success.




DAR ES SALAAM (AFP) — US President George W. Bush with backing from Tanzania's leader Sunday defended US policies towards Africa, from efforts to end Kenya's bloody political crisis to the war on HIV/AIDS.


ARUSHA, Tanzania (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush on Monday announced a plan to distribute bed nets to protect 5.2 million Tanzanian children from the deadly disease.


WASHINGTON (AP) - The United States has economic, political and security interests in Africa. More and more, President Bush has personal ones.
